Teacher Education Assistance for College and 高er Education Grant Program (TEACH)

To receive a TEACH Grant you must meet the following criteria:

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student 援助 (FAFSA)
  • Demonstration of financial need not required. The TEACH Grant is not need-based.

Definition of 高ly-Qualified Teacher

  • 高ly Qualified Teachers: To be deemed highly qualified, teachers must have: 1) a bachelor's degree, 2) full state certification or licensure, and 3) prove that they know each subject they teach.

TEACH Grant Agreement to Serve or Repay

Each year you receive a TEACH Grant, you must sign a TEACH Grant Agreement to Serve or Repay.

What is a TEACH Grant Eligible Program?

A program of study that is designed to:

  • prepare an individual to teach as a highly-qualified teacher 在一个 向领域; and,
  • leads to a baccalaureate or master's degree; or
  • is a post-baccalaureate program of study
