The Urban Ecology Center will serve as the hub for research in Los Angeles. As the California State University of Los Angeles, we will leverage our city’s global brand to attract researchers for (1) summits, (2) workshops, and (3) conferences.
Summits
Bringing together partners from academia, research institutions, NGOs, and public agencies for the development of applied research centered on sustainability, food security, and biodiversity
Workshops
We will host research workshops, with themes decided via a proposal process, for research teams to tackle pressing questions related to Urban Ecology
Conference
We will host a bi-annual conference regarding Urban Ecology on campus
